    • With regard to the migration of Robert Everett and Martha Mitchburn, Patricia Joy - a family descendant and researcher says this:
      "Regarding Robert and Martha’s shipping record – it only noted Robert and Martha and 3 children, being Martha b.1812, Charles b. 1821 and Edward b. 1825 arriving on the “Lotus” as already mentioned. I checked this passenger list very carefully and could find no mention of either Robert (jnr) or William Everett, although they were noted in the Tasmanian Colonial Indexes as having also arrived on the “Lotus” in 1831. Information in these very early indexes can be taken from other sources and pretty sketchy."
