Southern Cross HotelObituary 26 Feb 1917 Adelaide, South Australia, Australia - "Mr. Daniel Cox, 83 years of age, who had been living at the Southern Cross Hotel, Broken Hill, died suddenly there on Sunday night, after having eaten his tea. Heart failure was the cause of death. Mr. Cox, who was well known in the back country, was a member of the South Australian Police Force about 50 years ago. Messrs. Charles Raven (Mootwmgee) and Bert Raven (Rockwell) are his nephews."
